Dimensional Signs, Letters & Logos
Dimensional signs are three-dimensional (3D) visual elements used in signage to create depth and impact. They can be made from a variety of materials, including Acrylic, Metal, High-Density Urethane (HDU), PVC, Foamboard and Wood.
These signs often feature raised letters or shapes that stand out from the background, providing a dynamic and engaging look.
Here are some key points about dimensional signs:
-
HDU Signs: HDU is a strong, waterproof material that can be shaped and carved into any design. It’s a popular alternative for wood and is environmentally friendly.
-
Cast Metal Plaques: These provide a professional medium for identifying buildings and institutions.
Dimensional signs are effective for making a business sign stand out and are built to withstand harsh weather conditions, ensuring longevity. They can be customized in various shapes and sizes to fit specific branding or promotional needs.

Interior Dimensional Letters and Logos may be painted using pantone color systems to match your specific logo colors. Or, as is often the case, metal laminates, such as brushed silver and gold are mounted to plastics or foamboard to give the appearance of a solid metal lettering.

Exterior Dimensional Signs can utilize many of the same techniques as interior signage, however, because of direct exposure to outdoor elements, Outdoor dimensional signage cannot be made of materials such as foamboard as these materials will not hold up to the elements.
